TWO people were arrested in Southampton after a pub window was shattered and police officers were assaulted.
The window of the Giddy Bridge Pub in London Road was smashed on Thursday afternoon.
Several police vehicles and officers attended the scene, before officers arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage at around 4pm.
While he was being arrested by two police officers, 19-year-old Charline Cross was arrested for allegedly assaulting them.
Officers have since launched an appeal for witnesses after a 42-year-old man was found in the park with stab wounds in his neck at around 3pm.
On Friday, Cross, of Ludlow Road in Southampton, was charged with two counts of assaulting a constable.
She will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 2.
A police spokesman said the 24-year-man remains in custody.
