A MAN who was arrested in connection with a stabbing in a Southampton park has been released by police – but remains under investigation.
The park became a hive of police activity on Thursday after a 42-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his neck.
He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Following the incident, police cordoned off a large section of the park, and officers were seen manning the gates as an investigation was carried out.
The 18-year-old man was arrested and quizzed by officers before being released from custody.
