The following cases appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

KEVIN JOHN HOBBS, 48, of Hut Farm Place, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour on December 28. Hobbs was given a community order and told to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities and to abide by a curfew from 7pm until 6am for 13 weeks. He was also ordered to pay £300.

DONNA LOUISE BREWER, 27, Cardinal Place, Maybush, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing five boxes of fragrances worth £240 from Debenhams in Salisbury on September 29. Brewer was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50.

PETER MICHAEL JOSEPH MAGUIRE, 50, of Mead Road, Pennington. Pleaded guilty to stealing four cans of Special Brew, valued at £9, belonging to McColls in New Milton on two occasions between January 29 and 30. Maguire was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £9 in compensation.

ANDRZEJ SZCZURKOWSKI, 45, of Birch Road, Chillworth. Pleaded guilty to drink driving with 114 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath and without insurance on The Avenue, Southampton on March 13. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. Szczurkowski was banned from driving for 28 months, ordered to pay £85 and was given a community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement and ten days of rehabilitation activities.

THOMAS REES ARCHER, 27, of Howard Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching a community order given to him for one count of theft, driving without a licence, fraud and for driving off without paying for fuel. Archer was given an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months and told to complete 60 hours of unpaid work.

LEE PAUL IAN COOK, 29, of Tristan Close, Calshot, Southampton. Admitted breaching a community order imposed for drink driving and using a car without the owner’s consent. Cook was ordered to pay £250 in costs and fines.

GLEN CUNNINGHAM, 55, of Chestnut Road, Shirley Warren, Southampton. Admitting breaching a community order imposed for using violence to secure entry to a home on Church Street. Cunningham was given a 16-week sentence suspended for 18 months.

MATTHEW PAUL KERLEY, 22, of Summerlands Road, Fair Oak, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving off without paying for £123.20 of fuel in West End on February 16 and to stealing four bottles of vodka worth £148, belonging to Morrisons in Southampton on March 30. Kerley was sentenced to 18-weeks in prison because of his record of offending. He was also ordered to pay £115.

JASON PRIZEMAN, 45, of Foxes Boat Yard, Bursledon. Admitted contacting Lorraine Prizeman when banned from a non-molestation order. Community order for rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days, fined £500, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

SHAFIQ AHMED, 42, of Graham Street, Northam, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting Freshta Ahmed. Community order for rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 25 days, fined £30, £85 victim surcharge. No order for compensation as living together.

PETER SEBASTIAN BROWN, 34, of Bevois Valley, Southampton, sent offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message. Community order for rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 16 days, fined £50, £85 victim surcharge and £50 costs. Restraining order made not to contact Ms Watts.

MARIAN AUREL PACURAR, 26, of Sidney Road, Southampton. Guilty to assault by beating in Southampton. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £300 costs.

GARETH BAGGS, 39, of Douglas Crescent, Southampton. Guilty of handling stolen goods. Given a one-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

EMMA ELIZABETH BREWER, 33, of Vian Court, New Milton. Guilty to two counts of theft of cosmetics. Handed a community order with rehabilitation activity and four-week electronic curfew. Ordered to pay £119.97 compensation.
