AT LEAST one person has been injured in a multi-vehicle crash on a Hampshire motorway.
Two vans and a car were involved in the pile-up, which occurred beneath a bridge that carries Romsey Road over the M27 near Rownhams yesterday.
The hard shoulder and the inside lane of the westbound carriageway were closed as the emergency services deal with the incident.
One of the van drivers was injured in the accident.
He was put in a neck brace and placed on a stretcher before being transferred to an ambulance, which was parked beside his vehicle.
The van was on the hard shoulder, just behind a car transporter that was also stationary but appeared to be undamaged.
Long queues built up on the westbound carriageway but traffic has now returned to normal in the area.
