An Australian film about positive body image is coming back for a second time - after the first screening was so popular.

'Embrace' tells the story of an Australian mum whose before and after pregnancy pictures went viral.

As previously reported by the Daily Echo it is told from the point of view of Taryn Brumfitt as she travels the globe talking to experts, women in the street and celebrities about body image issues.

Taryn bares all (literally) to explore the factors contributing to this problem - and the solutions.

Embrace had its world premiere at the 2016 Sydney Film Festival, where it made it into the festival directors’ top 5 picks and was nominated for the Documentary Australia Foundation Award for Best Documentary.

Now Southampton's own global ambassador for the movement set up by Taryn is showing the film again after a successful first run.

Vie Portland from Woolston said: "I am so excited to be hosting the screening of this film again.

"I am passionate about body positivity and this film expresses a lot of what I believe; a lot of what I feel will make us happier humans.

"I have seen the film a couple of times now and, each time, I get something new from it. I urge you to come and see it and bring every woman, of every age, you know. Bring men too. This is an important film."

The film will only be screened if enough people book tickets.

There will be goodie bags for at least the first 100 people.

The film starts at 8pm on April 24 at Odeon Leisure World and runs for 90 minutes.
