A SOUTHAMPTON man went on a shop lifting spree and stole more than £250 worth of items, a court heard.
Sean Keith Drewitt, of Portswood Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to six counts of theft which took place at Sainsburys in Portswood Road, over three weeks in February this year.
Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard the 32-year-old stole three bottles of Baileys, worth £45, on February 7.
He also took two pairs of headphones, costing £95, on February 9, razor blades on February 20 and February 22 and CDs on February 23.
The defendant also admitted to stealing batteries, water and flowers costing £111.35 on February 24.
Drewitt was ordered to abide a community order, with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and ten days of activities as well as a six-week curfew from 8pm until 8am.
He has also been banned from entering Sainsburys for 12 months and ordered to pay £170 by the court.
