HE is a man on a mission to unite and heal all people in the harmony of universal love.

This weekend, Pablo Woodward, better known as the Disco Bunny hit the streets of Southampton encouraging people to dance, smile and express themselves with chalk on the streets.

The dancer reached global audiences when he showed off some moves alongside a pink-coated pensioner on the street of Brighton.

Since then Disco Bunny has now featured in rock band Kasabian’s video, In Love With A Psycho from their debut album.

On Saturday eccentric dancer twisted and hit London road in Southampton donning flowers, glitter and skin tight leggings and got passers-by to join in.

"I was walking home down London Road and thought the music was an excited taxi driver, but then when the taxi line moved I saw people dancing and the sign 'free rave' and 'free glitter' so I had to go over.

“It was great seeing people dancing, smiling, beeping horns, everyone was joining in as it was infectious.

“The perfect thing to bring to such a concrete part of the city - and the disco bunny's spandex was on point,” said 22-year passerby Larnie Moles.

The dancer said that he received a balanced response from the people of Southampton, some people took pictures with him but others were more cautious.

He said the warmest response was from Southampton's homeless community who were very welcoming and happy to meet him.

"The Disco Bunny evolved from inspiration and desperation.

"I decided I would stop making excuses in life, I decided to change my life radically.

"The Disco Bunny is a social experiment that brings happiness to others," said the father of two.

Pablo has visited 48 countries and has had an array of jobs including a job as a tennis instructor and managing an English language school in Poland.

On social media, Pablo wrote, "It's amazing you know the level of abuse I sometimes receive simply by walking on the street.

"The Disco Bunny walks tall, proud, sparkling, in broad daylight with sequins in full twinkle."
