PROSECUTORS have dropped a case against a man who was arrested following a fight in Winchester High Street.
As reported, a man was left with a head injury and left unconscious on the street following the daylight fight in the heart of Winchester.
Some witnesses say that the fight broke out, in the afternoon of March 28, when a bottle was “thrown at a baby”.
A 24-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed, will now not be facing any charges. A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “There will be no further action against the 24-year-old man who was arrested.”
