A WINCHESTER vet celebrated its 10th anniversary in style.

Families, pets and employees gathered at Companion Care Vets which is located inside Pets at Home in Easton Lane for the occasion.

Around 150 people enjoyed an open day at the event and there was pet photography from Paws and Claws, meanwhile there was a tombola and cake sale which raised £200 for St Francis Animal Welfare Charity.

People enjoyed surgery tours, face painting and there was demonstrations by Dan Churchley who made balloon animals.

Reception manager Eloise Osborne said: "It was amazing, we had a really good turnout - people found it really interesting and they could see behind the scenes here and celebrate our 10th anniversary with us."

She said that many people that came on the day were long-term customers who have used the vets since it opened.

Companion Care Vets in Easton Lane is run by Dr Finn Seydewitz Mag.med.vet MRCVS, who opened it 10 years ago.
