THREE men accused of the murder of businessman Guy Hedger appeared in court this morning.

Jason Baccus, 41, and Scott Keeping, 44, both of Verney Close in West Howe, and Kevin Downton, 40, of Winterborne Stickland near Blandford, spoke to confirm their names at Winchester Crown Court.

They spoke to the court via a video link.

The men are accused of murdering Mr Hedger, 61, at his home at Castlewood near St Ives.

As reported, Mr Hedger died as a result of gunshot wounds following an incident during the early hours of Sunday, April 30.

Baccus was represented by Mrs Leah Dylan, Keeping was represented by Peter Asteris and Downton was represented by Adam Feest.

The men have been remanded in custody.

The Recorder of Winchester, Judge Keith Cutler adjourned the case to November 14.
