RAILWAY services in Hampshire are facing delays after a vehicle hit a bridge.
A "road vehicle" hit a bridge between Petersfield and Rowlands Castle earlier today and is currently stuck under the bridge.
Police are at the scene and are attempting to deflate its tyres and move it.
The line has now reopened but disruption is expected until about 2.45pm.
A South West Trains statement says: "In the meantime, some trains will be diverted to run between Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh, and others may be delayed or cancelled.
"Further updates will be given when available.
"We are sorry for the disruption this afternoon."
