The following cases were among those heard at Southampton Magistrates Court.

  • Stuart James Miller, 26, of Richmond Road, Shirley, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding on August 31 last year. Four points, fined £150 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Nicholas Labram, 44, of Mansel Road East, Millbrook, Southampton. Guilty to being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog. Community order and fined £10 and ordered to pay compensation of £100.
  • Scott Henry Armostrong, 40, of Blanch Close, London. Found guilty of driving without due care and attention. Seven points, fined £165, with £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs.
  • Lisa Ann Hughes, 48, of The Milsons, Stockbridge, Test Valley. Pleaded guilty to theft. Conditional dischargefor six months, with £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Karl Paul Hoffman, 33, of Merrydown Road, Bitterne, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour and damaging property. A community order was made, and fined £100. Ordered to pay compensation of £80, with £85 victim surcharge.
  • Charlotte Powney, 25, of Blythe Road, Corfe Mullen, Dorset. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with traffic signs and driving without due care. Fined £585 and her driving licence was endorsed with seven points, with £85 costs.
  • Scott Roy Andrew Hunt, 42, of Lansdowne Gardens, Bournemouth. Pleaded of guilty to possession of amphetamine and stealing a sat nav from a vehicle.Jailed for three months suspended for three months and fined £80, with £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Gurmail Singh Bhatti, 38, of Kent Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to destroying a window belonging to Seymour Bar and damaging a police van and police cell. Jailed for six months. Also pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour towards Mike Kesslar-Lyne. Jailed for six months (concurrent), £75 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to assaulting Richard Adams. Jailed for three months (concurrent), £50 compensation.
  • Luke Brian McCabe, 29, of Bracklesham Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Six-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £50 compensation, £20 victim services surcharge.
  • Aaron Shaun Folan, 35, of The Acorns, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty, jointly with Carly Lucas, to stealing toys valued at £255 from Tesco. Six-month community order, four-week curfew, £85 victim services surcharge.
  • Carly Lucas, 37, of The Acorns, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty, jointly with Aaron Dolan, to stealing toys valued at £255 from Tesco. Twelve-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £20 victim services surcharge.
  • Sara Manson, 39, of Fritham Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing perfume valued at £183.98 from Boots and stealing three gift boxes valued at £102 from Boots. Jailed for ten weeks, suspended for 18 months, 18-month supervision order with curfew and electronic tag. Also convicted of breaching conditional discharge for stealing bottle of Southern Comfort valued at £22.49 belonging to Southern Co-Operatives Ltd. Jailed for four weeks, suspended for 18 months.
  • Daniel John Barrett, 27, of Elm Grove, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. Fined £100. Also pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis. Three-month community order with curfew and electronic tag, £85 costs, £85 victim services surcharge.
  • Leah Jane, 32, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to damaging electrical items and cigarette-based products belonging to Yohanes Habtemariam. Told to pay £200 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to assaulting Yourslem, Kesete. Jailed for 20 weeks, £500 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to stealing jeans valued at £109 belonging to John Lewis PLC. Jailed for four weeks (concurrent). Also pleaded guilty to stealing Five Yankee Candles valued at £119 belonging to Boots. Jailed for four weeks (concurrent).
  • Terry Collins, 56, of Redlands Lane, Fareham. Pleaded guilty to trespassing on railway line. Community order with curfew and electronic tag, £85 costs, £85 victim services surcharge.
  • Maris Tancis, 50, of Portswood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide specimen of breath for analysis. Eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, £115 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, banned from driving for two years. Also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving without a licence. No separate penalties. Also pleaded guilty to possessing false driving licence. Eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.

  • James Spencer, 22, of Testwood Lane, Totton., New Forest. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £400, £40 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, banned from driving for 18 months.
  • Lenoard Wanderi, 51, of Benny Hill Close, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £450, £40 victim services surcharge, £85 costs. Banned from driving for 19 months.
