FIREFIGHTERS tackled a campsite blaze last night.
The fire broke out in Pinsent Scout Campsite in Clarendon Way, Winchester.
One crew from Winchester spent more than two hours trying to tackle the blaze .
Firefighters say it was difficult to stop the fire from spreading and they had to use compressed air foam after the water hose could not put it out.
Firefighters received the call at 8.15pm and had to break open a gate to gain access to the campsite.
No one was hurt in the incident.
