EMERGENCY services have been called to a crash at an accident blackspot in Southampton.
The incident happened at about 2.40pm yesterday at the junction of Kathleen Road and South East Road.
A policeman at the scene said: "We have been here for about an hour.
"There were two cars involved and one has ended up in the fence of a nearby property.
"No-one has been injured."
As previously reported by the Daily Echo, residents demanded action after a collision near a childrens' play park which left a car upside down and a van badly damaged.
Southampton City Councillor Graham Wilkinson said: I would put temporary traffic lights on that crossroads as an experiment to see if they stop the accidents.
"If they do, then we have a case for installing permanent traffic lights.
"I would totally agree that traffic lights would be a solution on that junction.”
