A Hampshire town turned the clock back hundreds of years by staging a Medieval festival.
Archery, falconry displays and a chance to see knights in shining armour were among the highlights of the event at the Leigh Road recreation ground in Eastleigh yesterday.
Su Eaton and Martin Bridle from Ashurst staged puppet shows in a bandstand.
The event also featured a knight riding around the recreation ground on horseback and two other knights staging a sword fight.
Visitors to the nearby Swan Centre saw a mobile farm that also firs part of the event.
The festival has been organised by Eastleigh BID, which works for the businesses in the town and aims to attract more people into the shopping centre.
Eastleigh BID manager Teresa Swann said: "It's all about attracting people who might not otherwise come to Eastleigh."
