Top ten events for £10 or less during Southampton Sailing Week:

1) The regatta party wrist band will secure discounted drinks and activities throughout a variety of venues around Southampton and is priced at £5.

2) MDL Marina at Ocean Village will host a free concert with rock, pop and opera being performed from the pontoons on Saturday 27 from 4pm.

3) The same marina will also be hosting a vintage market at 10am on Saturday 27, with a variety of arts and crafts on display with free entry.

4) Banana Wharf in Ocean Village will host the Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 26, which is free to attend.

5) Southampton Riverfest will see local artists, musicians and story tellers descend on Riverside Park on Saturday 27 and is also free to attend.

6) Visitors can sail a model yacht in MDL Shamrock Quay on Saturday 27 and enjoy staying dry. Proceeds will go to the Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust and the activity is priced at £10 for half an hour.

7) The Southampton parade of sail will see hundreds of people parade their yachts, RIBs, kayaks and paddleboards out on Southampton water on Saturday 27 from midday and is free to watch with Itchen Bridge, Centenary Quay in Woolston or Ocean Village Marina good points for photographs.

8) The Hythe Ferry will be operating through the week, with a £10 return seeing passengers able to check out the activities in the Hythe marina and enjoy the journey on the way.

9) MDL Shamrock Quay marina from 10.30am on Sunday 28 will see a range of classic cars, bikes, supercars and scooters with free entry.

10) A sailing club open day on Sunday 28 will see dinghy sailing and RIB rides along with a BBQ. The event will run from 11am until 4pm and is free to enter.
