Police have launched an appeal to track down two would-be burglars after a window was smashed at a Hampshire home.
Two people wearing balaclavas were reported to have been running towards Arun Road, in West End, after a side window was smashed at a property in Kennet Close.
It is thought the two people may have been picked up by a taxi.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Did you see the taxi? Can you name the company? We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward."
Officers are appealing for anyone with information, or who may have private CCTV/ dash cam footage that could help, to call police on 101, quoting reference number '44170189939'. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
