A third man is under investigation as police further their probe into an alleged attempted murder and kidnapping.
One man remains in hospital after suffering life-changing injuries following a crash that saw a Vauxhall Astra smash into a stationary car and then a telegraph pole last Thursday night.
Officers had arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder and attempted kidnapping charges, before releasing the pair under investigation following the crash on Wide Lane in Eastleigh.
A 21-year-old from London was also arrested on May 22 on suspicion of kidnap, attempted kidnap and attempted murder, and released the following day, but also remains under investigation.
A 23-year-old man is currently at Southampton General Hospital after suffering life-changing injuries in the collision, and was found lying outside of the vehicle.
