A CHARITY skydive raised £3,000 for a youth centre.
With a freefall speed of 125mph, eight volunteers flung themselves out of a plane over Fareham airfield in aid of Eastleigh Youth and Community Trust.
The team at the charity manages a community centre, and provides inclusive educational, social, and recreational activities for children, families, young and older people and people with disabilities.
Executive director Daisy Robinson said: “Our activities enrich people’s lives and provide opportunities that might not be available without our supporters.
“We need volunteers to support our activities through fundraising so that we can continue to deliver high-quality project work.
“I’m so proud of everything that we achieve to support disadvantaged people.
“There was no way I was going to let the lack of a few quid stand in the way of continuing the amazing work we do – so this fundraiser was me doing my bit to help.”
