FIREFIGHTERS are investigating a blaze which destroyed a vehicle and left nearly a dozen others damaged, along with machinery, at a commercial greenhouse in Hampshire.

More than 20 firefighters tackled the flames for nearly two hours at landscapers Hambrooks, in Wangfield Lane, Curdridge, which broke out at 5.25am.

The greenhouse was well alight when crews from Botley, Hightown, Bishops Waltham and St Mary's arrived on the scene, with the flames being put out by 7.30am.

A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Around a quarter of the greenhouse, used to house machinery, was damaged by the fire.

"One HGV was completely destroyed, with half of another also badly damaged.

"10 other smaller vehicles also suffered damage from the fire and smoke."
