Appeal over racially aggravated assault at swimming pool
Police are appealing for help after reports a woman was assaulted in a racially aggravated incident at a swimming pool.
A 33-year-old says she was racially abused, slapped and shoved at the Hilsea Lido by another woman, where she was with her husband and four-year-old daughter.
The victim was with her husband and four-year-old daughter when the incident took place at on Saturday at around 2.40pm.
The suspect was described as white, in her late 30s, with green or blue eyes, bleach-dyed hair, slightly overweight and was wearing denim, knee-length shorts and a dark-blue vest top.
Police are appealing for anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting 44170209930.
