One betting company is offering better odds on Craig David taking over at St Mary's than there were of Leicester City winning the Premier League.
Paddy Power are offering odds of 500/1 for the next Saints manager to be the Southampton-born R&B singer, despite Ladbrokes famously offering odds of 5000/1 on Leicester City becoming 2015/16 Premier League champions - which they then went on to do.
But Craig David is a long way off the favourite for taking over from Claude Puel, who has been sacked by the club.
Thomas Tuchel was currently being tipped at 7/2 by Paddy Power but has been ruled out of the reckoning.
