MOTORISTS and commuters could face traffic problems while emergency work is carried out on a busy road.
Gas main repairs will be carried out on The Hundred, Romsey, until Friday, June 30.
Work started on Monday, June 12. Southern Gas Networks are undertaking the works.
The bus stops on the road heading away from the town centre will be shut while works continue.
Residents are instead advised to either go to the Bus Station or opposite Abbey Lodge.
A temporary bus stop for traffic going west into town has been set up outside the police station.
