Man appears in court charged with murder
A MAN appeared in court this morning following the death of a Hampshire man.
David Richard Gray, 35, of no fixed abode, has been charged by Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Team over the murder of Carl Scott.
The 37-year-old’s body was discovered at a property in Birch Court, of Thurmond Road, Winchester on March 22 this year.
Gray, who wore a white shirt, spoke to confirm his name at Winchester Crown Court.
There will be a further hearing at Winchester Crown Court on the week of August 21.
It is expected that a trial will start in December.
