A driver who ignored a rolling roadblock on a Hampshire motorway has been told to pay more the £500.
Spencer Lau-Brown, 35, of Lime Kiln Lane, Holbury, drove his black BMW through the road block which had been set up to remove debris from the M27.
Highways England officers were trying to retrieve debris from the carriageway, which had been left by a vehicle that had broken down due to a blown tyre between junctions 3 and 2 on the morning of November 19, last year.
Lau-Brown was convicted of neglecting/failing to comply with the directions of a traffic officer.
He was fined £440 for the offence, ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
