Police 'armed with machine guns and shields' descended on a Southampton neighbourhood this morning.
One resident described a scene of six officers, all with machine guns, entering a house on Abercrombie Gardens just after 7.30am.
Patrick, a neighbour, said: "I pulled in about half past seven and there were about half a dozen cops, actual officers round here.
"They were all armed with machine guns and shields, like riot shields.
"I didn't see them come out with anything though."
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for comment.
