Thousands of cyclists took to the streets today for City Ride - when roads around Southampton were closed to cars.
The HSBC event saw community members and famous cyclists tour the streets of the city and is designed to give people the chance to ride with friends and family in a traffic-free environment.
British BMX stars Kyle Evans, Tre White and Paddy Sharrock got the event underway and mingled with those taking part.
Evans said: "“It’s been great to see so many people out and about on bikes in Southampton today.
"Events like this are so important in getting people of all ages out and showing them just how accessible cycling can be.
"Hopefully today has inspired everyone here and thousands more across the city.”
