A Hampshire teenager has been left with cuts and bruises to hit face after he was hit with a bottle.
The 17-year-old was attacked after he was surrounded by a group of 20 boys/men at a party in the Strawberry Fields area of Warsash.
The victim's back pack, containing a mobile phone and clothing, was also stolen during the assault at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
He sustained a cut to his upper lip, a cut to his head and bruising to his face.
The attacker is described as white, of slim build and with a shaved head.
PC Gemma Dunn, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward and speak to us.
"It is possible there may have been other people in the area at the time, perhaps dog walkers, who would’ve seen what happened.
"I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us.”
