THOUSANDS of residents gained an insight into Thai culture at Hoglands Park over the weekend.
There was traditional Thai food, arts and crafts, a costume show, live music and performers at Southampton Thai Festival.
Those who attended also had the opportunity to watch a Thai boxing tournament and massage demonstration in the summer sunshine, as well as Ladyboy shows and Thai dancing.
One of the organisers, Joy Saptip, said: “It was really good, everyone enjoyed it. It was a real family day, lots of children came and had a good time.”
It is believed more than 2,000 people visited the festival over the course of the weekend.
