Southampton psychedelia-indie stars The Rising release their latest single on Friday and play their next home town show in September.
The band says Kaleidoscope Eyes, recorded at the world famous Rockfield Studios, gives fans a taste of what to expect from their second studio album.
Frontman Tommy Overington, guitarists Ryan Griffiths and Jimmy Hayes, bassist Barrie Jarman, drummer Matt Stanton, keys player Liam Dixon and singer Emily Blackledge are known for their infectious fusion of harmonious Sixties rock and roll, punk and indie.
The Isle of Wight and Common People festival veterans even recorded with the same Hammond organ used by The Who and Ultravox while at Rockfield.
Hear The Rising’s new tunes when they play Southampton’s newest music venue The Loft, Lower Banister Street, on Friday 15 September. Tickets £8. Kaleidoscope Eyes is released on iTunes on Friday.
