AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

SHELLEY LOUISE JUNE ADAMS, 31, of Redcote Close, Southampton. Found guilty of harassment. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

MASON CHRISTOPHER BEDWELL, 22, of Sutherland Road, Lordshill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a blood specimen. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £40 victim services surcharge and £250 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

MARCIN ZUBOWICZ, 33, of Derby Road, Southampton. Guilty to stealing a total of £104.50 worth of food and drink items from Sainsbury’s supermarket over three occasions between February and May 2017, and breaching a conditional discharge. Community order made and ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £72.30 in compensation and £85 costs.

SADIK NABIL YOUSEF GERGIS, 37, of Aylesbury Road, Bournemouth.Guilty to travelling on a train without a ticket, damaging a train window and using abusive or threatening words or behaviour. Community order made and fined £30. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs and six months added to current suspended prison sentence.

HICHAM SMAILI, 31, of Ridding Close, Southampton. Found guilty of driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident. Community order made and an eight-week curfew from 8pm until 8am put in place. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £310 costs, £85 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for nine months.

NERIJUS DUSEVICIUS, 37, of Vale Drive, Southampton. Found guilty of assault. Dusevicius was fined £270 with £30 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

JOHN LLOYD, 55, of Greater Horseshoe Way, Knowle, Fareham. Found guilty of speeding. Lloyd was fined £300, with £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs. His driving record was endorsed with 3 points.

RICHARD CHARLES BROWN, 46, of Union Road, Southampton. Indicated plea of guilty to stealing a TV from ASDA and stealing a laptop from Sainsburys. Brown was committed to prison for 16 weeks, with £140 victim surcharge.

EMMA LOUISE MCINDOE, 26, of Andrew Lane, New Milton, New Forest. Indicated plea of guilty to stealing a pedal cycle valued at £450, possession of a class A drug. A community order was made.

PEDRO FILIPE SOARES, 25, of Fullerton Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damage to a front door and assault. Soares was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, with £115 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

PIOTR JARZEBIAK, 33, of Chapel Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. Jarzebiak was fined £83, with £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

JASON PATRICK MCCARTHY, 44, of Shales Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. McCarthy was committed to prison for 16 weeks concurrent suspended for 12 months. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.

OWEN DANIEL PASSMORE, 37, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton. Indicated plea of guilty to stealing food and laundry products. Passmore was discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £62.40 in compensation and £35 costs.

TRAVIS DAVID BARRY, 20, of Crete Cottages, Dibden Purlieu, New Forest. Guilty to harassment. A community order was made and fined £50 with £200 compensation.

MOHAMMED ELIAS CHAKIR, 34, of Glenforth Street, Greenwich, London. Pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle to the police. Chakir was fined £140 with £30 victim surcharge. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

DANNY CARL HUGHES, 25, of Welstead Way, Hedge End, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. A community order was made. Hughes was ordered to pay £85 costs, with £85 victim surcharge.

SCOTT IAN MCLAREN, 26, of Leaside Way, Southampton. Pleaded guilty sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. A community order was made, with £85 victim surcharge.

ARIO ROBBIE ROBINS, 22, of Shirley Towers, Southampton. Found guilty of assault and criminal damage and use of threatening words or behaviour. Robins was committed to prison for 13 weeks concurrent, with £115 victim surcharge.

MARIE JANE SAWYER, 48, of Radleigh Gardens, Totton. Guilty to drink driving. Fined £225. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £50. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 12 months.

HARRY GEORGE BLATCH, 22, of Sheldrake Gardens, Lymington, Guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply it. Community order made including rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £15. Victim surcharge £85.
