A MAN has been charged with arson in connection with a fire at SeaCity Museum last month.
Thomas Ashcroft, 39, of no fixed abode has been charged with arson with intent and burglary.
The charges come after a fire started at the attraction on Havelock Road in Southampton on Tuesday, June 6.
The building had to be evacuated and in the process money was stolen from the till in the café.
Ashcroft will appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 20.
