The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

MICHAEL WILLIS BARRY TUCKEY, 27, of Wrights Walk, Bursledon. Admitted assault. Jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months, with curfew and electronic monitoring. Restraining order, £140 compensation and £85 costs. Also admitted another assault. Jailed for six weeks to run concurrently, suspended for 18 months, with curfew and electronic monitoring.

LEE BARNES, 34, of Round Copse, Dibden. Convicted of stealing two DVDs, value unknown, from Tesco. Jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, with curfew and electronic monitoring. Also convicted of having an article for use in connection with theft. Jailed for 12 weeks to run concurrently, suspended for 12 months, with curfew and electronic monitoring.

MATTHEW JAMES WALLINGFORD, 22, of Oxford Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching community order. Fined £50 with £30 costs.

CHRISTINE BARTON, 65, of Victoria Road, Netley Abbey. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath. Suspended from driving for 16 months. Fined £253 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

LUCINDA MARGARET VOLLANS, 46, of Quayside Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

DONNA LOUISE CALDER, 44, of Anglesea Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing goods from Sainsbury’s in Redcar Street, Southampton to the value of £42.87. Fined £20 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

CHARLIE JOSEPH SMITH, 24, of Surrey Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving over the alcohol limit and causing damage to another vehicle. Community order made and disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

LEE KEVIN BARRY TIMOTHY HAZELL, 30, of Derby Road, Portsmouth. Pleaded guilty to stealing £140 worth of belonging from Iceland and £40 worth of goods from Co-op. Also pleaded guilty to harassing and assaulting police officers. Sentenced to 32 weeks’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

JACK LIVING, 26, of Tickleford Drive, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving over the alcohol limit. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fined £450 and ordered to pay £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

KARIN ULRIKA TRAVERS, 44, of Town Quay, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing three pairs of men’s jeans from Zara Group and £108 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury’s in Redcar Street, Southampton. Community order made. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge.
