THERE were lots of happy faces at Fareham Rotary Club’s annual community awards.
Rotarian George Cantrill received the top accolade, the Sapphire Paul Harris Fellow, along while fellow Rotarians Gerry Ayres and Mike Bazeley who were made ‘Paul Harris Fellows’ which honours special service.
Meanwhile, Rotarians Tom Churchill, John Landaw and Chris Courtenay were given long service awards for their commitment to the club for more than 35 years while treasurer Keith Miskin received the President’s Salver.
President Bob Marshall said: “They continue to give great service to the rotary club. It is important though to acknowledge that all our Rotarians provide excellent service on a continuing basis and I am proud to be involved with them all.”
