It has hosted concerts for major stars like Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams and Little Mix and now a brand new beer and music festival is arriving at the Ageas Bowl this August.

The home of Hampshire Cricket will welcome Junction 6, a mini festival offering a weekend of "great music, fabulous food and real ales"Saturday August 19 and Sunday August 20.

Visitors will have the opportunity to sample over 30 real ales, as well as music from a host of talented bands and solo artistes in Junction 6’s marquee arena and Beefy’s famous BBQ.

Tickets are currently available at a half-price early bird rate of £5 for day tickets and £8 for a two day pass – but only a limited number of tickets are available at this initial price.

The Ageas Bowl are also encouraging talented bands and solo artists to showcase their talents to a large audience of music lovers, with those interested able to submit a sample of their music for the opportunity to be considered for a performance slot during the event.
