A Hampshire man has pleaded guilty to stealing almost £600 of fuel and oil in just over a week.
Matthew Paul Kerley, 23, of Summerlands Road in Fair Oak has been jailed after he stole the products on nine occasions.
Pleading guilty at Southampton Magistrates, Kerley’s biggest theft was of £110.41 on June 25, with another two thefts of oil the following day. One was valued at £88.17 and another worth £54.17.
The lowest valued theft was £25.22 on June 23.
In total, Kerley stole £584.16 worth of motor fuel and oil between June 18 and 27.
The 23-year-old also pleaded guilty to one case of assault and another of harassment against two different people, as well as stealing £25 cash.
He was sentenced to 32 weeks behind bars for his crimes.
