They’ve been battling it out on the field for over 60 years.

After playing for over 40 years at their Moorgreen Ground, AFC West End made the move to their current home of Cutbush Lane in 1996 after a triumphant season in which they lifted two pieces of silverware.

The Westies, as they’re affectionately nicknamed, became the first Southampton Senior League side to lift the Hampshire Intermediate Trophy after sealing the Premier Division title with five games to go.

The club were in an envious position in 1989, having two sides in the top two divisions – the main team in the Premier Division and their reserves in Senior Division 1.

In 1990 the team were presented with the Friendliest Club trophy at a meeting of the Southampton & District Society of Association.
