A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after an incident on the Itchen Bridge caused long delays in Southampton.
The incident, on the outbound carriageway, caused delays back onto Mountbatten Way.
A cyclist came of his bike on the bridge, causing injuries to is face, hands and legs.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said the cyclist has been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
The spokesman added: "It was possible he may have suffered some sort of medical episode that caused him to come off his bike."
