Displayed on large scale light boxes, these extraordinary images celebrate the drama and beauty of the natural world through striking, creative and sometimes humorous wildlife photography. From exotic landscapes to the most fascinating animals, this breathtaking exhibition will appeal to photographers and nature enthusiasts of all ages.

The exhibition is at Sea City Museum seven days a week from 10am to 5pm until September 24.

(2) At Hampshire cinemas...

ADAPTED from Dav Pilkey's series of colourful children's books, David Soren's energetic computer-animated adventure Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is like a pair of oft-worn Y-fronts: saggy and frayed in places, but structurally sound.

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie embraces puerile humour with a goofy grin and repeatedly trots out fart and poop gags to keep youngsters in the audience sniggering with glee.

Fourth grade pals George Beard (voiced by Kevin Hart) and Harold Hutchins (Thomas Middleditch) hypnotise mean-spirited school headmaster, Benjamin Krupp (Ed Helms), using a plastic ring from a box of frosted cereal.

The tykes convince the headmaster that he is a superhero called Captain Underpants, who gallivants around their community of Piqua, Ohio wearing just a pair of white Y-fronts and a flowing red cape.

(3) At Hoglands Park...

CELEBRATE a child's right to play with the free annual Southampton Play Day, today between 10am and 2pm.

(8) At Cowes Week...

IT'S the world's best known sailing regatta and a highlight of the British sporting calendar each summer. Lendy Cowes Week returns to the Solent from tomorrow.

One of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events, Cowes Week has been held in early August every year since 1826, except during the two world wars.Over the years the event has attracted British and foreign royalty, and many famous faces.

The regatta has evolved enormously since its early beginnings, and now over 800 boats in up to 40 different classes race over eight days. It is this mixture of classic and ultra-modern designs that gives the regatta its unique flavour.

This year Lendy Cowes Week has a number of themes running throughout the week that involve both competitors and visitors. Family Day will start things off on Sunday with family-friendly activities taking place on The Parade and Cowes Yacht Haven. Families can also get out on the water on one of the spectator boats for a special discounted rate.

Around 8,000 competitors now participate, ranging from Olympic and world-class yachtsmen to occasional weekend sailors.

YOUNGSTERS from Footlights Youth Theatre are treading the boards with cult classic musical Little Shop of Horrors until tomorrow night.

Little does he know that this unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for human blood!
