TWO Southampton residents have been locked up after stealing items from the city's Ikea store, one of whom was released from prison just eight days earlier.
Wesley Robinson, 43, of Macarthur Crescent, Southampton, was released from prison on July 14, before stealing £73 worth of knives from IKEA on July 22.
With 40 previous convictions, Robinson was put back behind bars for 56 days after admitting the offence.
Emily Sarah Louise Clayton, 24, of Wavell Road, Southampton, also pleaded guilty to stealing two cutlery sets from IKEA in Southampton, as well as £245 worth of curtains from Next.
Also known as Emily Reynolds, the 24-year-old also pleaded guilty to assault by beating and failing to surrender to Southampton Magistrates Court.
She was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison after breaching a suspended sentence.
