EMERGENCY services rushed to Winchester to rescue a man in the river.
Firefighters were called to Wales Street at around 1.50am to rescue a man in the River Itchen.
However, when the crews from Winchester and Redbridge arrived to the scene the man was already out of the water.
South Central Ambulance Service took the man to Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
It is understood that he did not suffer with any life-threatening injuries.
