A MAN is fighting for life after being crushed by a tree.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Dibden Golf Centre following the incident and pictures show firefighters and the air ambulance at the scene.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance service said: "We were called at 12.07pm to Main Road to a tree that had fallen on a patient.
"All our crews assisted and treated the gentleman who is in his forties.
"The air ambulance was called but the patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance."
The man has sustained life threatening injuries.
Dibden Golf Centre issued a statement which said: "Today, one of our employees was involved in an accident whilst performing his duties.
"He is now being cared for by the ambulance service and local hospital.
"Our thoughts are with him at this time and we will issue a press statement once we have all the facts.
"The course is closed until further notice."
