WORLD-CLASS tributes to Bon Jovi, Arctic Monkeys and Blondie will take to the stage as Fake Festival returns to Southampton this weekend.

The UK’s only touring tribute festival is back and celebrating its 11th year on the road and its second outing at Mayflower Park tomorrow.

Bon Jovi Experience, Antarctic Monkeys and Blondied will entertain thousands of music lovers.

The look and sound-a-likes deliver an accurate version of real life stage shows from the celebrated bands.

They will be joined on stage by five local support bands, providing the warm up to get the audience in the party mood.

Festival-goers are being encouraged to bring their singing voices and dancing shoes to enjoy the tribute acts belting out some classic songs.

Mark Pitfield, organiser of Southampton Fake Festival, said: “Last year the Southampton weekend was so warmly welcomed by the community. I look forward to seeing those faces in the crowd singing along and having an amazing day.”

Not only can this year’s Southampton Fake Festival-goers enjoy the live shows, but they can also get up close and personal with their idols, as they pass through the famous Fake Festivals white marquee, grabbing a beer before they go on stage.

Flash, Oasish and Really Hot Chili Peppers impressed the crowds at last year’s inaugural event.

Although the 2017 event is the second in Southampton, Fake Festivals have been touring for 11 summers. Each tour ends with a three-day festival The Big Fake Fest in Nottinghamshire in September.
