A SPORTSCAR owned by a Parkour specialist who has performed stunts for Hollywood blockbusters has been stolen, the day after his birthday.

A red Nissan GTR was stolen from the driveway of a house in Hathaway Gardens, Chineham, on Thursday, August 3.

The car was owned by Chase Armitage - a freerunner and Parkour specialist who has performed stunts for films including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and has starred in numerous viral videos.

He said: “It was really disappointing as it was stolen when I was on holiday with my wife and it was the day after my birthday too.”

Chase took to social media to appeal for his friends and fans to help find the stolen car. He added: “I wanted to get the word out there as I had my push bike stolen last year, it got a lot of shares on Facebook and then it turned up at my house within 24 hours. So you never know.”

Police reported the theft took place between 1.55pm and 3.05pm on Thursday, August 3.

Earlier that day, two men, described as being of Asian origin and aged around 30 years old, had come to view the for sale car. The police would like to speak to these two men in connection with the theft.

One is described as being short and stocky, with short hair. The other is described as being tall and thin, and wore sunglasses.

The car has a curb scuff on the lower passenger side bumper and when it was taken, it had ‘M171ENG’ on the numberplate.

It is believed access was got to the car by sabotaging its keyless entry and ignition systems. Chase added: “I want people to be aware that this technology isn’t always foolproof and to raise awareness that people can get round it.”
