HUNDREDS of runners dressed to impress at an African-themed fancy dress day.
Up to 212 runners took part in the run at Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley Abbey which to wish Karen Andrews, a regular runner at the park run best of luck in her travels across Africa.
The race was won by Michael Gregory from the Stubbington Green runners with a race time of 17 minutes 31 seconds followed in second place Alexander Thomas Garrod with a race time of 18 minutes 14 seconds.
Netley Abbey park run sees an average of more than 300 runners a week with an average runtime of 28 minutes.
