Among the recent cases heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court were:

Trevor Colin Couzens, 48, of Blackwater Drive, Totton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting and damaging a vehicle. Jailed for four weeks. Victim surcharge £115.

Steven Anthony Hoile, 34, of Romsey Road, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without consent of the owner. Jailed for four weeks. Victim surcharge £115.

Viktors Moise Jevs, 35, of Wadhurst Gardens, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Community order made including 80 hours of unpaid works. Victim surcharge £85. Costs £85. Banned from driving for 23 months.

Connor James Leggatt, 25, of Brighton Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug driving. Community order made including 120 hours of unpaid works. Victim surcharge £85. Costs £85. Banned from driving for 15 months.

Neil Anthony Stevens, 63, of Waverley Road, Southsea. Pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour at Eastleigh Railway Station and using public transport while drunk, breaching a criminal behaviour order. Community order made and made to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Samantha Patricia Banks, 35, of Staplehurst Close, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order band theft from Boots. Community order made and put on curfew from 9pm to 7am plus ordered to pay £60 costs.

Leigh Rehan, 32, of Asturias Way, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving while disqualified. Community order made and curfew put in place between 8pm and 7am. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge, and driving licence endorsed with six points.

Tina Sally Lightning, 43, of Walkers Lane South, Blackfield. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £60 and driving licence endorsed with three points.

Sean McWhinnie, 36, of Jackie Wigg Gardens, Totton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Frank Tribe, 66, of Pepys Avenue, Thornhill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to sending an offensive electronic message. Community order made and put under curfew from 7pm until 6am, Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £35 costs.

Liberty George Cooper, 45, of Romsey Court, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Jailed for three weeks suspended for 18 months. Restraining order made and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Richard William Roy Smith, 59, of Sparrow Grove, Bankside Close, Highcliffe. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
