A MAN has died after a car overturned on the Isle of Wight.
Police reported that last night a Daewoo Tacuma left the carriageway whilst driving along the A3055 Military Road near Chale, before overturning and coming to rest in a field.
A 30-year-old man, who was an occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed, and formal identification procedures remain ongoing.
A 33-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, who had also been in the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and were taken to St Mary’s Hospital.
The incident took place between 10.45pm and 11pm.
