BLACKFIELD & Langley trebled their ‘goals for’ tally in one fell swoop with an astonishing 10-0 slaying of Petersfield Town at Gang Warily.

Petersfield, already reeling from a 7-0 midweek humbling by Hamble Club, suffered another 90 minutes of misery as Liam Robinson (3), Mike Turvey (2), Jamie White (2) and sub James Guthrie (2) put them to the sword.

It ensured Blackfield maintained their 100 per cent record in the Sydenhams Premier Division and they are the only side yet to have conceded a goal.

Writing on Facebook, the Watersiders said: “Credit to Petersfield for not losing their heads and playing to the final whistle.

“Credit also to our lads and bench for the respect shown to a side who can’t have enjoyed a double-figure thrashing.”

New league leaders Baffins Milton Rovers also went goal crazy as Joel Jackson (2), Calvin Moses, Jamie White and Max Davies demolished Bashley 5-0 away.

Lymington Town survived a missed penalty by hosts Cowes Sports en route to a 1-0 victory at Westwood Park.

Ex-Eastleigh youngster Owen Fee crossed for Steve Walker to head home the first-half winner.

There was better news for Cowes’ Isle of Wight neighbours Newport who triumphed 2-1 at Bournemouth Poppies.

Josh Younie struck twice to seal Port’s first league win of the season.

Sholing had beaten a young Team Solent side 3-0 on Friday night through Owen Roundell, Lee Wort and Dan Mason, while Hamble Club dumped Bemerton Heath Harlequins out of the Sydenhams League Cup 4-0.

Coby Wilson, Brad Magookin, Mike Byrne and Nathan Lynch were the Monks' marksmen.
