DETECTIVES are continuing to investigate an incident which left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Buddha Lounge in Southampton after the 30-year-old victim was found with head injuries and rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
Following the incident, which happened on Winchester Street at about 1.40am on Sunday, August 20, a 36-year-old man was arrested.
He has been released but remains under investigation, and police want to hear from anyone who knows what happened.
Detective Inspector Pete Boakes from the Western Investigation Team said: “We would specifically like to speak with anyone who may have footage of the incident on their phone.
"This area was very busy when the incident occurred and we hope someone may have either purposefully or inadvertently captured footage of the incident.
"If you were in the Winchester Street area or outside any of the establishments including Buddha Lounge at this time, please get in contact and assist us with this investigation.”
