A NEW hair salon has opened in a Hampshire town.
Friends Emma Dovey, from Newtown, and Stacey Broom, from Halterworth, have teamed up to open a new shop in Abbey Walk.
The pair have worked together at salons in Romsey and Winchester and are now striking out on their own.
Emma said they were please to have found the charity store premises in Abbey Walk.
“It’s a nice little shop, a lot of people walk past, and there is parking handy.”
Dovey and Broom will be using organic hair products made by Aveda.
“It’s a good brand. We have worked with them before and we love them,” said Emma.
The salon will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays, 10am to 8pm on Thursdays, and 8.30am to 3.30pm on Saturdays.
